Driver fatigue can be as dangerous as driving under the influence. A study by researchers in Australia showed that being awake for 18 hours produced an impairment equal to a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .05, and .10 after 24 hours; .08 is considered legally drunk in that country.

Getting enough quality rest in between driving events is something the Charters team diligently enforces. Many of our drivers are required to drive our customers over long distances, and often times on a schedule, the demands can be overwhelming.

It is very important that our team take time personal time for even a little physical or social activity to keep their mind and reflexes sharp.
